By Lorna Ye
Behind the thin and shimmery rain,
a slice of sunshine threaded
through the vast expanse of purple and
shades of blue wash,
blended in the murk,
shredded shivering hues of light.
A boat has been idling on the shoreline
for too long, as stillness swallows down
the slosh of the languid waves,
mind wandering and sinking,
in the unsettling wake of
the flickers of desolation.
